I love my job.

I love my job. Today I had barely turned the lights on in my office when two students were at my door, holding a gift bag. One of the fourth grade classes had made cards and sent all kinds of treats in a gift bag for me, just to say "thank you" for being the School Nurse. How sweet was that? I am very fortunate to work with a great staff; teachers and administrators. I actually look forward to coming to work now, which is definitely a major change for me. I love the kids (mostly), and everyone in the office. I am very blessed to be a part of such a great school community. Having said that...I can't wait for summer... only 15 more days!!!

Hey Lisa ~~ Cool to see you

Hey Lisa ~~

Cool to see you blogging. I saw your link off of Jimmy's page. My Mom was a School Nurse, too, and she just LOVED her job. You definately have to have a heart for 'little ones' especially the hypocondriacs. I'm looking forward to summer,too...!
