Not too much happening at school today. With testing and evaluations over for the year, all the classes are doing fun things and no one wants to miss anything! So, I've had an opportunity to start my end of year work; charting on student files, pulling records to transfer and cleaning out file drawers. It's hard to believe the year is almost over already. Nine more school days! Woohoo!
For those of you reading this that know Mark and I, you're probably aware that we're changing some things at home to improve our health. We've started eating a more healthy diet and exercising. We started this in February, and Mark is still going strong. Notice I said.. Mark. I'm really proud of him. He's made some major adjustments and adopted the new changes as his lifestyle, not a "diet". I, however, am struggling. I can do without sweets and soda... but man, the Doritos are calling! I'm a carb-eater; I'd much rather have chips and salty snacks than sweets. Mark works out every day with weights, and walks 2 miles a day. I have fallen off the wagon. Maybe by writing this I can somehow hold myself more accountable to the committments of eating better and exercising instead of searching the kitchen in the hopes that those Doritos have magically appeared and sleeping in when I should be up working out. *sigh* I'm going to eat an apple.

You can do this! Just hang in there. No one will be perfect. I wish it was as easy to lose weight as it is to gain it. Anyway, you can do it!
